Grama Swarajam is working towards creating villages that generate their own energy, manage waste efficiently and operate with reduced dependency on external resources. Two major pillars of this mission are Biogas Plants and Solar Power Systems, helping villages become self-reliant and eco-friendly.
A biogas plant converts cow dung, food waste and agricultural residue into clean cooking gas. This reduces LPG cost for families and also generates organic manure which improves soil health.
Solar power provides uninterrupted electricity for villages at almost zero maintenance. Through rooftop panels, solar pumps, and community lighting, power shortages will be eliminated and farmers gain access to reliable irrigation.
The awareness sessions on farming & cleanliness helped our village improve our environment and hygiene standards. A wonderful initiative!
The training on natural fertilizers helped us reduce chemical usage. Our yield increased and soil became much healthier.
The digital literacy workshops are helping youth learn smartphone usage, online payments, employment and education resources.
We work to transform villages through agriculture empowerment, digital awareness, skill training, women development, and sustainable economic growth.
